The AJC is excited to announce a new initiative: weekly virtual conversations with a member of our Atlantic Canadian Jewish Community. Each conversation will take place via Zoom on Wednesday evenings, from 8pm-9pm ADT (8:30pm-9:30pm NDT), and will include a 30 minute presentation from a community member followed by time for Q & A.
We will launch this initiative with: A Conversation with Marc Kranat, GoDaddy’s Cyber Security Supervisor for Enterprise Firewalls. Marc’s presentation is entitled “Internet Security in our New Reality with Coronavirus” and will cover password managers and strong unique passwords, working remotely safely, and SSL (that little padlock top left).
A little more about Marc: Marc lives in Fredericton, NB. He leads the firewall support for Enterprise clients at Godaddy, and has worked in the cyber security space for over 20 years. Holding the most recognized IT security qualifications, he’s a vocal advocate for personal online privacy and security. In his spare time, he likes hacking the internet of things, wrangling his Huskita, and being an assistant to his photographer wife Ayten.
