Holocaust Memorial

The Atlantic Jewish Council participated in the B’nai B’rith International memorial project, “Unto Every Person There is a Name”. This reading aloud of the names of Jewish victims who were murdered by the Nazi regime has become cherished ritual in our community. We in Halifax join the Jewish communities throughout the world in the public recitation of names of Jewish victims of the Holocaust. With the support of the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, this was able to be presented and honored.
