Jewish Teen Programming: Jewish Outreach Leadership Training (JOLT)

JOLT is Canadian Young Judaea’s flagship program for teen community outreach. It is a national program operating in 5 cities across Canada. JOLT stands for “Jewish Outreach Leadership Training.” During the year, JOLT partners with various organizations – including the AJC – to give teens the chance to bring about positive change within the community. JOLT is available for teens from grades 8 to 11 and runs bi-monthly activities (a monthly “leadership” session and a monthly “outreach session”) from September to the end of May. By joining JOLT, you will receive community service hours at the end of the year, you’ll get the opportunity to engage in active, social causes, you’ll get to meet lots of new people and make new friends, and you’ll have a ton of fun and feel rewarded for your effort!
