The 2023 United Jewish Appeal of Atlantic Canada Campaign – The AJC’s Annual Fundraising Campaign

The United Jewish Appeal of Atlantic Canada Campaign is the AJC’s annual fundraising campaign.

To put it simply, our UJA campaign fuels every single thing we do as an organization – everything including fighting antisemitism, supporting and advocating on behalf of Israel, PJ Library and our other youth engagement activities, Jewish teen programming, our local Hillel chapter, helping those in our community in need through our new Jewish Family Services initiative, our film festival, Holocaust Education initiatives, government relations, partnerships with governmental and community organizations, our annual Jewish calendar, Shalom magazine, and much more.

None of these programs or services would be possible without donations from community members just like you who, year after year, give generously to ensure that our Jewish community in Atlantic Canada continues to not only exist – but thrive.

There are many ways that you can make a tax-deductible donation to the AJC’s 2023 UJA Campaign:

• Give online through this secure link
• Call Aviva at 902-422-7491 x 221 with a credit card number ready. Credit card donations can be one-time donations or regularly recurring donations on a monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, or annual basis.
• Mail a cheque made out to: “the United Jewish Appeal of Atlantic Canada” to The Atlantic Jewish Council, 300-5640 Spring Garden Road, Halifax, NS, B3J 3M7.
• Send an e-transfer donation to the AJC using the email address info@theajc.ca
• Donate stocks or securities by filling out this form (or asking your financial advisor to fill it out). When you donate stocks to a charity, you receive a double tax benefit as a) you are not required to pay any capital gains taxes on stocks that have risen in value since you purchased them and b) we can issue you a tax receipt for the full value of the stocks.
