Chazzan Brummer is coming to Moncton, January 13-14

Please note that on January 13-14, Tiferes Israel Synagogue will have the delight to listen to Schlomo Brummer, an outstanding Cantor with a beautiful voice.

He will be in the Synagogue, leading services for

  1. Friday night service at 4:40 pm 
  2. Saturday morning service at 9 am
  3. In the evening of Saturday, January 14, he will be performing  (with Miky Braun pianist) at 7:00 pm   
    1. One hour of Classical Songs & Inspiration : 6-9 selections
    2. Followed by  a Classic Wine & Cheese event (LFE ‘s corp.’s unique 3 year old Artisan Kosher Cheese) 

Tickets for Saturday evening performance : 20$/person, 40$/family

Here is a short bio:

Shlomo Brummer is an Israeli-born Cantor who is the oldest of a musical family of 15. From a young age he was identified as having a gifted melodious voice. His exposure to classical music and chazzanut led him to a career in the Cantorial world. Whilst studying in Ateret Yisroel Yeshiva Jerusalem, it was under the auspices of Conductor Eli Jaffe of the Jerusalem Institution for Cantors at the Great Synagogue that he graduated as a certified chazzan.

Cantor Brummer has conducted the Shabbat and High Holiday services around the world. A key participant in prestigious choirs globally, including the Great Synagogue Jerusalem Choir and The Neimah Choir of London, he is well known to the congregants of the Beth Abraham Synagogue, Bangor, Maine where he has conducted Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services for the past 16 years.

A performer of heartfelt classical melodious prayers, his unique style has invigorated congregants in synagogues and concert halls worldwide. Cantor Brummer has performed in classical Central London synagogues, European communities and world known locations. More recently he performed in Monaco.
