Jewish Community Event Cancellations
Due to the ongoing situation in the world, the following events have been postponed or cancelled:
- PJ Library Get Together Grants (however, PJ Library will still process reports/reimbursements for any events that took place before March 17th, 2020).
- All May AND June 2020 Birthright Israel Trips
- The 2020 International March of the Living
- All events planned at the Saint John Jewish Historical Museum for April, May and June (including Yom Hashoah / Holocaust Memorial Day, the Spring Variety Concert, and Judaism-in-Context Lecture series)
- Services at the Saint John Synagogue, and the community Passover seder
- Services at the Beth Israel Synagogue (Halifax)
- Services at the Shaar Shalom Synagogue (Halifax), as well as the monthly community shabbat dinners and book club meetings
- The PEIJC’s annual Passover Seder and Yom HaShoah Program
- The Africana Jewish Studies Lecture at Dalhousie University
- The Jewish Cultural Art and Objects Workshop Series at Pier 21
- The AJC’s Seder Plate Painting Party
- The Halifax Yom HaShoah Ceremony
- The AJC’s Yom Ha’atzmaut 19+ Party
- Canadian Young Judaea’s Atlantic Region Mifgash
