Interfaith Gathering and Climate Action Rally – Sept 20, 12 PM, Grand Parade, Halifax

Please join us for an Interfaith Gathering and Climate Action Rally at noon on Friday, Sept 20 at Grand Parade in Halifax.

At this event, we’ll honour the victims of climate change with a moment of silence and hear from faith leaders and climate change activists about the state of the climate crisis and how we can take meaningful action. The event is part of the Global Climate Strike week (September 20–27) called for by the Swedish teenage climate activist, Greta Thunberg, and the thousands of students who began striking for action on climate change earlier this year. They’ve told us they can’t do this alone and are asking adults to step up and join them in raising our voices and sounding the alarm on the climate crisis.
