Introducing Hillel Atlantic’s Interim Director: Bill Chernin!

Bill Chernin is a native Nova Scotian. He attended Camp Kadimah for a record-setting 21 summers. Bill was a Hillel Director for ten years, working in Atlantic Canada and Western Ontario at Guelph, Waterloo, Laurier, and Brock universities. He was the Associate Director of Volunteerism at Dalhousie University, working with alumni to organize alumni chapters and programming across Canada and internationally. Three years ago, Bill made a hard-right turn in his career, choosing to pursue his dream of making film and television. He is currently a producer, director, and writer of video and television. He was thrilled to discover a silver lining in the COVID cloud – another chance to work with Jewish students and is thrilled to join our leadership team.
