Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Virtual Classroom Lessons Now Available

Over the last few weeks, we at the AJC have received many calls regarding unbalanced discussions of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Junior High and High School classes across the region.

Maya Lotan, our Director of Youth and Young Family Engagement, has a teaching certificate, a master’s degree in Israel studies specializing in modern history, and a tour guide license from the Israeli Ministry of Tourism. She is offering her knowledge and abilities to any teacher in our region who reaches out!

Please have your children’s teacher reach out to Maya at pjlibrary@theajc.ca to invite her to give a balanced, relevant, 20-minute virtual yet engaging class on the history of Israel and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
