In celebration of Lag B’omer, there will be a free BBQ dinner with games, activities, and a bonfire!

The event is on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at Chabad House, 1171 Waterloo street.

There is parking available in the parking garage on Seymour street near the corner of South street.

The day of Lag B’omer is celebrated as an exhibition of Jewish pride and unity. Lag B’omer (the 33rd day of the counting of the Omer) commemorates the lives of the great sages Rabbi Akiva & Rabbt Shimon bar Yochai who were examples of proud loyalty to G-d and His Torah during the Roman occupation of the Land of Israel.
