Old Stock will be on stage at the Neptune Theatre from October 30 – November 17, 2019. It was written by Christian Barry, Hannah Moscovitch, and Ben Caplan, and directed by Christian Barry.

Old Stock is an inspiring tale in the face of unspeakable horrors. This Klezmer-folk music-theatre hybrid starring genre-bending sensation Ben Caplan is inspired by the true stories of two Jewish Romanian refugees coming to Canada in 1908. It’s a humorously dark folktale woven together with a high-energy concert about how to love after being broken by the horrors of war.

Old Stock was the winner of the 2018 Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia Masterworks Arts Award.
