POST-WORLD WAR II DEVELOPMENT OF JEWISH EDUCATION IN HALIFAX: An Essay by Abby Cohen

Abby Cohen, granddaughter of Annalee Cohen and daughter of Jamie Cohen, both of Halifax, NS is a 2nd year student at Cornell University.
For her class “ENGL 2630: Brazil to Brooklyn, Jewish Cultures of the Americas”, Abby recently completed a research essay about Jewish Education post WWII in Halifax, specifically at the Beth Israel Synagogue. Abby has graciously allowed us to share it with the community.
