Rabbi Skobac was the founding director of Kiruv, the campus outreach arm of the Rabbinical Council of America. Rabbi Skobac has lectured extensively on missionaries and cults as well as on issues of Jewish continuity and spirituality across the United States, Canada, Israel, the Former Soviet Union, England, India, Australia and South Africa.
