The AJC’s Annual New Year’s BBQ – Sept. 17th, Conrose Field
The entire community is invited to join us for our annual New Year’s FREE Kosher BBQ at Conrose Field (Conrose Ave, Halifax, NS, B3H 2A6) on Sept. 17th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Food items will include:
- Kosher Hot Dogs & Buns
- Water & Juice
- Chips
- Fruit
- Candy!
- Vegetarian options available for vegetarians only
- Israeli/Jewish music
- Playground & Swings for kids
- CARNIVAL Games: oversized Jenga, golf-swing challenge, wind-up pig races, big-foot races, and more!
- A kid-friendly soccer game organized by and featuring the Inter B&W soccer team!
Conrose field also includes areas to play baseball and tennis so if interested, please bring your own equipment!
This event is BYOC – Bring Your Own Chairs! We will not be providing any seating! Parking is available off of Fairfield road or any of the side streets around the park.
In the case of inclement weather, we will be alerting the community by email whether or not we will be postponing the BBQ.
We are in need of volunteers to help set up, clean-up, and grill! Please contact Naomi (nrosenfeld@theajc.ca) if you are interested in helping out for a half-hour shift!
