Atlantic Jewish Film Festival
The 4th Annual
ATLANTIC JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL (AJFF)
October 19 – 22 2017 | Halifax, NS
ABOUT
The Atlantic Jewish Film Festival (AJFF) is presented by the Atlantic Jewish Council, a registered non-profit society with charitable status, but it is largely volunteer-driven. The festival provides a singular opportunity for the public to experience the Jewish world. We offer film lovers documentaries, comedies and dramas that otherwise would not screen in Nova Scotia. We choose films to engage, entertain and educate a diverse, inclusive audience.
Following the success of last fall’s third annual festival, the AJFF organizing committee is excited to announce another great year of engaging films highlighting Jewish life and culture around the world.
But we depend on you.
By sponsoring or purchasing advertising in the AJFF program you assure our growth and ensure that we continue to share our Jewish world with the larger one.
We invite you to become part of the AJFF family.
Last year our Saturday evening film, “In Search of Israeli Cuisine,” was a whirlwind tour of food and restaurants across Israel. The gala party featured Israeli food – of course! This year we invite you to a “wedding reception” gala party after we screen a German film, “Family Commitments,” where two guys, a Jew and a Muslim, marry. Come celebrate with us.
